Battle system

Information

In each battle the fleet of attacker fights the fleet of defender.

  • Ships (and defence) from both sides are divided into groups according to their type.
  • Each group fires enemy units so it kills some of them.
  • After each shot there is an Armor reduction calculated for the defender and when defender attacks - for the attacker.
  • The game choses what ships (defence) each group will strike according to their Priority target.
  • If there is no priority target for the certain group to strike it will attack at random another battle ships or defence group.
  • Civilian ships, Service ships and Commander ships are being stroked at the end.

Weapon attack and damage calculation

The weapon attack of each unit is calculated by the following formula:

  • weapon attack (damage) = base_attack + (bonuses * base_attack)

Where bonuses are total of:

  • Weapon science percentage (depending of what weapon the unit uses can be Laser, Ion or Plasma science).
  • Ships ugrades percentage.
  • Admiral stat "Ships Attack" percentage (for Ships only).
  • Admiral weapon Skills percentage (depending of what weapon the unit uses can be Laser Beam, Ion Charger or Plasma Optimizer).
  • Admiral skill "Attack Forcer" percentage.
  • Commander ship "Executor" bonus percentage.

Armor reduction

There are three armor types in the game: Light Armor, Medium Armor and Heavy armor. Each armor is improved by the corresponding armor science.

The armor percentage determinate the damage that an unit will take. F.e. If the unit armor is 30% this unit (or group of units) will take 30% less damage.

The armor of each unit is calculated by the following formula:

  • armor = base_armor + bonuses

Where bonuses are total of:

  • Armor science percentage (depending of what armor the unit uses can be Light, Medium or Heavy Armor).
  • Ship skill "Armor boost" percentage.
  • Admiral skill "Shield master" percentage (for Ships only).

Priority targets

Each battle ship has two priority targets. The first is another battle ship, the second is defence turret. Each defence turret has one priority target which is a battle ship. This means that until there are still alive prioriti targets in the battle this unit will hit only them.

Bonus damage and penalty damage

Each battle ship has bonus damage against atleast two other battle ships and penalty damage also against two other battle ships. The bonus damage allows you to inflict more damage against your target when the penalty damage will reduce your damage against the target.

  • The bonus damage can be up to 70%.
  • The penalty damage can be up to 30%.
